reaching our community in Middleton The upper room is committed to serving the community of Middleton. We are local people who meet in the heart of the town. Our faith motivates us with a love for people and so it is natural for us to serve in many and varied ways.
Middleton Child Contact Centre
In 1999 the Middleton Child Contact Centre was established to work with children and families who were no longer living together. The Contact centre provides a neutral venue so that parents who no longer live with their children can come and spend some time with them in s safe and secure environment. The Centre has seen many families and children pass through its doors, and we seek to help each one to restore their relationships to such an extent that they can make their own unassisted arrangements for contact. Whilst we are an independent voluntary service we as
affiliated to N.A.C.C.C the national association of Child Contact Centres, and
work with the courts, CAFCASS, and local solicitors to provide support and help
for families. Open Door Pregnancy Crisis Centre Our local pregnancy crisis centre in no longer operating and should you have a need or enquiry in this regards there is an alternative confidential pregnancy helpline operated by IMAGE, who are the organization that we partnered with to provide the Open Door Crisis service.
