We believe that young people are precious to God and that they are an important part pf the church and the wider family of God.

It is important to us to invest in young lives and so even at an early age it is our desire to train, equip and encourage our young people in the ways of God, to enrich their lives and to establish firm foundations of character and faith.

sunday activities
During the main morning worship the young people split off into the sunday school where they receive life inspiring instructions and training, mixed with fun.

Our young people are encouraged to participate in the life of the church, in prayer, service and outreach.

For those young people who want to take their faith deeper we host regular sessions of Truth Seekers where challenges are set and made to stretch the young people in their faith.

We have also run youth alpha as part of this group.

wider involvement
The upper room also encourages its young people to participate in the wider body of Christ by attending other vibrant and inspiring events, one such event being SPACE - the largest regular youth event in Europe, held in Manchester and Liverpool, and early next year in Sheffield, for more info visit their web site.

We also support the work of the Message Trust, an organisation committed to providing Manchester's youth with regular opportunities to accept or reject Jesus Christ.
